About The CEOs Breakfast
The Annual CEOs Breakfast was founded in 2018 by Kimani Patrick as an intimate, CEO-only morning convening in Nairobi. It rans for eight consecutive editions from 2018 to 2025 before being rebranded as the SME CEOs Forum in Dec 2025.
- Across its run, the Breakfast convened an estimated 1,200+ business leaders and facilitated and estimated USD 200+million in business relationships.
- In December 2025, the event was relaunched as the SME CEOs Forum (Edition One).
- A second forum edition was planned for May 8, 2026, then rescheduled to June 18, 2026 due to low registrants across both attempts.
- Followng this, Carlstic made the decision to revert the original Annual CEOs Breakfast brand nam rather than persist with the Forum identity, and to rebuild trust with a sequenced strategy: direct outreach to the affected registrants first, then a public comeback announcement, then soft-return invite-only event.
The event now bign organized is the 9th Annual CEOs Breakfast, marking the brand’s return.
